Portraits

Faces, unposed

I'm drawn to faces that aren't posing for me — caught mid-thought, mid-laugh, mid-stare. Some of these are strangers who let me borrow a minute of their day; one or two let me closer than that. Either way, nobody here is performing for the camera.

01She borrowed the ribbon from a game I never fully understood.
02A quiet face in red — one frame, no direction given.
03Holi doesn't ask permission before it finds you.
04Not a real wound — just a story I asked him to wear for an afternoon.
05He never looked at the camera once. The guitar was enough.
06Weight he's carried longer than I've had a camera.
07Found him mid-celebration — he struck the pose himself.
